Recently worked at Broadcast Video as Technical Director of Telecine/Senior Colorist.  John Seberg has more than 20 years experience in the telecine field, working in major metropolitan areas including New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington DC. & Miami.

John began his career more than 20 years ago at JSL Video Services in New York.  There, he learned the ins and outs of film-to-tape transfer equipment, which continues to give John a technical edge over other colorists. He has also worked behind the camera and understands all aspects of the shooting process. John encourages his clients to call with any questions before, during and after the shoot, so he can best provide the ultimate in customer satisfaction. His vast credit list as a colorist, extends from national and international commercials, documentaries and music videos. Recognizing his expert eye and attention to detail, famed telecine manufacturer da Vinci often requests his expertise when demonstrating products at the annual National Association of Broadcasters convention.

John’s credits cover the world, AT&T, Bell South, McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Budweiser, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Colgate, Alka Seltzer, Kodak, Sears, FedEx, DHL, Toyota, Chevrolet, Florida Lottery, Gloria Estefan, among others.

Having recently worked on Sony's Vialta with a da Vinci 2K Color Corrector, John is able to create the most vibrant colors and dazzling effects available. Key features of the Vialta include: optical zoom for 35mm, excellent image stability (within +/- one pixel), ramping from 2 to 50 fps with perfect registration for high speed effects, diffused light path minimizing film's dirt and scratches, seven and a half power windows and defocus board (which works like a swing and tilt lens). All color correction work is completed in High Definition mode (1920X1080i - twice the resolution as standard definition) and outputs to Sony HDCAM, Digibeta or any standard definition format simultaneously.
